a small WIP preview

Since I don't have lots of time to start and complete new projects, I've decided to go through my old folders and dust off some things that have been sitting around.

To that end I've tweaked the Dancer bodyshape that I was working on earlier this year, not to mention fixed some of my old curvy bodyshape meshes.

I don't know if anyone wants any of these, if so feel free to leave a comment, otherwise they may end back up in the ON HOLD folder. Seeing as I don't get to play my game much anymore.

Under the cut there are the preview of the dancer shape morphs and sneak peeks of some Rio, Booty Cutie and Sussi meshes.

A Massive Medieval Undertaking.

As some of you may know I lost my Vintage meshes, and I can't seem to rebuild them just right. I've been needing some inspiration because I was bombed out about my PC and quitting my job, along with mysterious reporting of my sharing files. I exchanged some PMs with a really great and knowledge person and I was awed at the extent of their help and information. Not to mention this same person provided me with so much advice about an attempted and failed project for GOS' Secret Santa. Then in my glee in seeing their latest creations I really just wanted to do something for this person, and their just all around awesomeness.

Who is this person you may ask? AlmightyHat.

So this post is really our work space, WIP sharing etc. Feel free to join in at anytime. I'll getting a decent lists of the 3 projects together in the next few days as well as getting some ground work laid hopefully. Once the lists are posted feel free to throw out names/ links/ meshes that you'd like to see included or ideas you may have.

Of course the focus is on Medieval and some custom Bodyshape work as well.

Personal WIP Making various vintage/retro meshes using mostly EA parts so I can start my Stepford Housewives Hood. Sort of Mid Century parallel universe type of thing. It's a convoluted idea and once I find the write up for it I'll post the blather somewhere.

TL:DR if you have ideas or thoughts on vintage/retro stuff, say mid 40's- early 90's leave a comment/links/pics.

Liberating YAM/YAF Letterman Jackets for top on and also making a fullbody decent mesh for outerwear.

Please submit a picture hosted in your own hosting, please no bandwidth theft, and links to the parts you want incorporated. If it's by an Creator that doesn't allow altering of their meshes please get in touch with me and we can contact the creator and ask together. If you are a GoSling then you can post in the wishing tree and just put a link here. I can't really think of any thing else, but basically be polite and respectful. I do sometimes lose my will to create and when I do I'll close this thread and reopen it when I get it back. Finally if your request is difficult or fiddly then please realize that I may do easier smaller ones to relieve stress or think things through. It's just how I work. I will try to let you know that is what's happening however.

I'm really falling in love with the vintage look and I think it ties in well with the thrift/shabby chic theme of my current game. Now I'm working on a shirt waist dress and AlfredAskew sent me a link to this amazing site with the most glorious shoes I've ever seen. Now I must mesh them.

Yes, I know I'm running late. The body shape project is shelved until I have time to rebuild from the bottom up. It will get done, but not in time for the theme.

Progress on the BV jacket as a Alpha editable group.

So with the help of Amaryll, and some awesome tutorials by CatofEvil Genuis, Geldyh and VanitydeMise I've made my first true alpha mesh. I've done some limited in game testing, however I'm working on my project for GOS' monthly theme so I'm going to come back to this when that is done. Here's the in game testing screen caps. I think that most of the clipping is the shoulders and breast area. At some angles it clips around the preg belly.

Please don't be scared of the floating belly, I didn't have any maternity bottoms in game at that time.

Just a quick update on the Dancer Body Shape

I know that I'd said that I was stepping away from the computer for a bit, however it was truly irking me that I couldn't get the tee shirt mesh working. So I attacked it yet again and I'm pleased with the end results. I still have to match the waist lines to the fat and preg morphs, . But this is the comparision of the undies mesh (to the right) of the default of the shape. Once I get them matched I think it will go faster. My goal is to have something in every category by the month's end. I'll of course be adding to the selection. As usual forgive the crappy pics.
