digitaldollies | a small WIP preview

Since I don't have lots of time to start and complete new projects, I've decided to go through my old folders and dust off some things that have been sitting around.

To that end I've tweaked the Dancer bodyshape that I was working on earlier this year, not to mention fixed some of my old curvy bodyshape meshes.

I don't know if anyone wants any of these, if so feel free to leave a comment, otherwise they may end back up in the ON HOLD folder. Seeing as I don't get to play my game much anymore.

Under the cut there are the preview of the dancer shape morphs and sneak peeks of some Rio, Booty Cutie and Sussi meshes.

Dancer fatmorph ( which I know some may not like, but I like it a lot)

Booty Cutie SMOOTH nude ( if you are familiar with the shape you know what I mean. Rio shape pants with multi shoes and pregmorphs. Sussi shape SMOOTH nude (see above) also with morphs

BootyCutie in FB smooth jeans ( not to sure if there are morphs), Rio in leonasimstight pants (does have morphs). Sussi in separates: untuckable topand cropped jeans multi shoe mesh.

BootyCutie in the same jeans with a different texture, Rio in a mini with justsims 2 pumps, and Sussi in geldyh's tattered dress with her wedges.

whewww, that sounds like a lot, and there's still more when I finally get done.

Sussi's mesh in my favorite, but all of them look amazing! Very nice work so far. :)

Thanks, My favorites are Rio, Dancer and then Sussi, so expect a ton for those shapes.

Aww thanks Vanity! I'm getting almost to the end with the Dancer meshes, I decided to recolor as I go rather than wait until I have 20 meshes and no textures. I also stole something of yours and added it. I'll have some preview pics hopefully tomorrow and see if you can spot it. LOL

I'm not usually a fan of bodyshapes, but I really like the Dancer one, as it looks very natural :) The Maxis default shape is so skinny it irks me, so I think perhaps even a default for it using your Dancer shape would be nifty, even if I had to hide all Eaxis clothing and only use custom clothing for the Dancer (and default the NPCs, too...). Hm. It would be a lot of trouble, but I would happily get into it to not see the Maxis shape again :/

Anyway, I really like what you've done and can't wait for it to be released :D

Oh and...can I add you to keep track of your amazing stuff? :)

Thank you, and yes I was thinking of having the shape as a default to my game, it would be tons and tons of work. Not to mention I don't know how to default or hide anything. I don't really use the default shape very much because it is unnaturally thin, so when I do use the default shape my sims are almost always fat.

And yes you can add me.

PS. I'm almost done with this batch of meshes and there are more to come. I'll have pics this weekend (fingers crossed)

If you'd want, I could help you with the default/hiding stuff, so it would work like a collab? Dunno, but seeing as you and I are interested in the same thing...anyway, I'm here and in case you want you can always contact me here at DW, right?

I'm going to game test and take pics now. I'm very interested in a collab, that will be great. Anything that helps out on the time consuming stuff. :)

I hate doing the part after the meshing, take pictures, doing textures, renaming everything. Boo! It's enough to put me off for a bit.

Well, if you need me for stuff like Simpe job or texture copypasting, I'm here, just tell me. Perhaps I can also help with simple preview pictures, but notice that I've never done it yet (so don't expect ellaborate scenery and such) and my graphics are not amazing (such as Yuxi's, for example), but I think they do the job, lol.

So if you think I can help you, just tell me that I'll gladly do so :)

Are you sure you want to do that? If so I can send you the files to test( it never hurts to have 2 sets of eyes), and then to rename. I don't know if you can remame in simpe. ( I don't know how to do much in Simpe besides extracting and importing gmdcs and textures). I do know that some of the working recolors are in the folders but I can't seem to track them down. As far as previews a white wall contrasting floor works well. I have a mid level graphics cards, so I can't do the Yuxi screen shots either, lol.
I must warn you that there are about 300 hundred files that are loosely named. I usually group like named files together in a folder and then rename in groups ie [JaRo_meshname_color]. I have most of the screen shots done, but not swatches, if you know how to do them then feel free if not I usually list the colors under the pictures. For the copypasta of others textures you just ignore those besides the renaming of the files, like on the blockfeet meshes, I just really wanted people to have a bit to choose from starting off.
SO if you are sure want to join in on the crazy let me know.

Finally I'm working on one last part for the Dancer shape, so there's no rush for them until maybe next weekend.

Well, then I can make the swatches for sure, and if you need some previews I can do it too (for the next three days I'm at my boyfriend's and the game looks beautiful in his PC). I'm not so sure about the rest of the stuff, I'm afraid of screwing things up, sorry :( Oh, and I can do also tooltipping if it hasn't been done yet.

Tooltipping is done, give me a couple of days and I'll get them sorted into folders and named. Your previews will more than likely look better than mine, because I suck at previews. :) No worries abt anything else. Thanks so much for taking this on. I'll touch bases with you probably tomorrow night or Tuesday morning, with them all sorted. Did you want to play with them or get previews in the mean-time?

Right, so I'll wait for your contact. And if you have something ready for me to get previews (and playing too, lol), you can send it to me already, even if it's not renamed or something.

Give me a couple more hours, I'm almost done with the renaming, I had to stop to cook dinner, after that I'll get everything cleaned up. I have 2 more shapes to do so I feel overwhelmed. If I can finish this one I can breathe a little easier.The way I'm doing them should make the previews easier. If I find I'm not finished by 8 then I'll send what I have.

I've not forgot, since I was almost done with the renaming I'll finish then send them, Psychosim told me about the bulk rename tool, so it's going faster. I just have to sort everything, and that means SimPe previews. I'll do this as I go from now on.

I'm so very sorry I took so long, I had to sort and rename them, and because is was 80 MB !!! I compressed them. Now it's about 64 and they are uploading as I type. In some of them, especially the ones with the ZZZ... I still have more recolors to do. And I forgot to do the skintone names, the full body nudes ( skintone tester) files are in with the skintones. The ones with the bellybutton piercing uses joedy's HollowPoint smile and the regulars ones use PeachT's candybars set and they are all anatomically correct. I hope that doesn't offend you. Also many of the meshes have multiple shoes built in but the mesh file will say so. Finally, I've included some of my previews but feel free to take your own please. If you want to do some recolors feel free just label them similar if you want to upload and all of them are maternity friendly. Whew. Have fun and I'll PM you the link and once you've downloaded let me know so I can lock it until everything is done. Thanks again for helping me. Also if you want to do more for the other shapes let me know. They shouldn't have as much as this one because this is a brand new shape. I have several more I'm working on so let me know.
