Good News and bad news

I've moved to another state, started a new job and school started back up. So I've been very busy. Which helps with taking my mind of the bad news...the hand/wrist is still in pain pretty much all the time. Maybe work and school has made it worse, but I'm going to be frank and say that I don't think I'll be simming any time in the near future. I've stopped even browsing Tumblr, LJ and DW because I get way too depressed about it. So I'm going to officially be on hiatus.

I love you guys, but it makes me too sad to see simming all around and I can't do anything about it.

Better news about the hand

No surgery needed, at least at this point, apparently the bones while not broken are bruised in several places and the sprain made the swelling around the tendons worse than it was before. He said that he will re-evaluate again on 10/30 and we will know the final result. Right now immobilizing it and complete resting of the hand right now will be the best recourse right now.

THE CAST IS OFF!!!!!! But I got the brace back on 4 more weeks, and PT for 6 weeks. But I’m getting to close to being ready to start being able to do anything beyond moaning and mooning about not being able to properly Sim. It's still pretty sore, but I'm so glad to have that cast off, and the doc says once the swelling goes down, some of the pain will go away too.

I hurt my right hand/wrist last week, after a couple of Doctor visits and a trip to the ER, I found out my hand is fractured in 2 places and my wrist severely sprained.Which means simming or rather creation is out 6-8 weeks. Tomorrow when I feel better Ill officially withdraw from all events and the like. Theres a really pretty picture of the cadt on my tumblr. I apologize to everyone that I've promised stuff too. To my tradees I'll still make the gifts it will just be quite late. As soon as I can I'll post the link to those dresses.

Nymphy, you can also post the shoe requedt on GoS at that time if you like.

Firstly, thanks everyone that commented. I'm going to release the meshes in the wild once I do the shoe edits, but that will be in a couple of weeks, have lots to finish up for some events that I'm working on and the clocking is ticking very loudly.

Anyone want these dresses

I made them for someone, and it turned it out that the dresses weren't their style, so I was going to scrap them, but I''ve already done the meshes, base textures and some of the recolors. Ignore the textures, as everyone knows that's not my strong suit. I've done pretty decent PSD's with this batch if that's important at all.

If anyone wants them then I'll finish them up while I'm doing some other bodyshop stuff and post them here, otherwise back into the never to be finished file.

I could have sworn that I’ve seen these up for download some where, I’ve checked marja’s, trapping’s and pinktemine’s lj and CiJ/ Advent entries. I can’t even find them in my downloads and I really need the cloche hair really bad. I wanted to put up a request for that hat to be done in about 6 of CuriousB’s ACYL and Nymphy/Nouk’s curly texture. I’m lost. I really like them all but the cloche is really what started a 3 hour hunt, when I should be meshing.

Isn’t there a database of conversions, or am I confused about that as well. My Googlefu failed me today. Back to milkshape

The good news first: I got my mojo back, thanks to CuriousB in a round about way. Now the bad news, I still make very crappy textures. The halp part, I need someone to make some textures, in the sort of Maxis Match way, not exactly Maxis, but definitely no photo skinning. I hope that doesn't sound rude :/. I have 9 meshes in all, and I really worked hard on the UV maps which should make them easy-ish to recolor. Anyone that wants to help please leave a comment or message me, as thanks I will do a nice gift for you including any clothing meshes requests you have. Thanks for reading.

Sussi Body Shape Add-on SuperSet

It has been a long time coming, but I'm finally setting these loose in the wild. I'd like to thank Sussi & Bloom for doing these meshes and giving me a shape that I just had to make more stuff for. Per both these aren't to be shared, however since neither of them are active in TS2 community any more, I'm going ahead with it. I'd also like to thank Rosie for her wonderful pictures, thanks so much, darling, for doing these.

I know it's been really quiet here, and I feel that I need to make a sort formal announcement. Not that I think people care, but I didn't feel right just fading away with out a word. There's no need to reply or anything like that, again it just doesn't feel right just disappearing. I'll still be around on GoS, MtS and ISA, just not active.

I'm taking a sort of hiatus from Simming for a while. How long, I really don't know. It's not something that anyone has done or anything like that. I just seem to have lost steam. I open milkshape and/or the game and all I feel is bleeeehhhhh. I can't seem to find it in me to make anything any more. I hope my muse/inspiration/drive comes back because it was fun. It's not fun anymore. My toys are where they are to stay and in the coming time I will try to get some sort of link repository done, as well as back ups to everything. I also have quite a few things done that I've not released because I'm not really pleased with them at another glance. However if anyone wants them (namely the bodyshape stuff) then drop a line and I'll send you a link to mess that is a folder. I really appreciate the community for the support and companionship over the years, you guys made my life bearable and I'm grateful for that. To all the CC makers you've made my game great and the best time suck of all time. :)

Help with beginning programming class

I know this may seem odd, but since the community has so many smart and techno people I thought I'd toss it out here. I'm having a lot of problems with my programming class. Right now I'm just trying to learn the basics and even though my instructor helps some, it's an online class and she and I seem to not be able to get on the same page. So I decided to reach out.

I'm still using psuedocode because languages are next semester. I'm stuck right now on if-then-else statements, along with some other problems.

I'm doing my annual viewing of all 3 LOTR movies, this time on my flat screen tv in 1080p, and this movie fucking rocks. I have to say Liv Tyler as Arewen is just spot on. I've always thought she was gorgeous but the scene where the wraiths are chasing her and Frodo literally sends me into a panic attack even though I know she's going to make it to safety.
